Project Description
Sowing the seeds was a competition entry from Abdullah Abass Architects as one of the ten architectural firms who were chosen to present a concept for a self- sustaining community project. The concept presented was that of “the hand”. The hand is the creative manifestation of the ideas created by the brain, entrenching the idea of ideas being formulated and then made into a reality by the hand. The pulse of the hand is symbolised by a tree, an indication and representation of growth, life and knowledge.
The firm was successfully short listed to the top 4 of the competition.
