Project Description
A Madrassah is traditionally known as an institution for Islamic studies. However, this project was designed to serve as a community project that not only benefited its Muslim users but the community at large whilst behaving as a particular support to the blind community. This project was a retrofit of an existing building but initiated the use of the courtyard in the space planning to incorporate nature and stimulate the senses, making it a more pleasant and user friendly environment for the visually impaired and disadvantaged users
